Importing xml don't work

    Hi,
    I wanted to import the posts from another wordpress site, so I exported an xml and imported it into my new wordpress site. But when I did that, I got the message your “..updating your database. Click here to do it.” And I did, and everyting I had build up in the new site dissappeared! Lyckily I had only worked for a day… The worst was that no post or pages were imported into my new wordpress site, don’t know why.
    Any suggestions?

    Is it wordpress to wordpress or another platform to wordpress?

    It’s a wordpress to wordpress! I use a theme called Pure from Yootheme from which I have made a clean theme + wordpress package install… Don’t know why it doesnt work!
