I deactivated your plugin, but it’s impossible to delete it from the plugins page: if I remove it via FTP, its data will remain in the database, and I don’t want that.

    How can I do this?

I saw another thread here in support, but going into the database to look for this plugin’s settings seems (honestly) foolish. Also, I don’t know what I’m looking for…

    Do you have a solution?
    Thanks a lot.

    Thanks for the defect report.

The plugin deletes almost all its data when you deactivate it. The only remaining data is a small option (a row in the wp_options table) named index-wp-users-for-speed-options. The plugin, when working the way I designed it, deletes that option when you delete the plugin.

So there should be very little harm in using FTP to delete the plugin’s files.

It would be helpful if you gave me more details on what goes wrong when you deactivate and try to delete the plugin from the dashboard plugins panel.

It gets stuck in the “Deleting” position, but this never happens, even after hours…

If I refresh the Plugins page, after a while, nothing has changed: the plugin is still there, deactivated, but it’s there.

I’ll check the database… Thanks for the link.

    Thanks for your assistance.
