Impossible to activate with this theme?

    Hi,

    we are a little NGO in Aschaffenburg, Germany. We are working in a very difficult area finally to protect young people from extremist, violent ideologies like for example IS-Salafism. We work in small adolescent counseling teams to strengthen their self-esteem, engage them in creative processes, treat their escape traumatas as best we can. 

    We would like to insert Ditty News Ticker for publishing new events or even ideas. We are no IT-Profis, but the tried very hard to activate the Ticker on or over the main picture on the start page. But with this theme may be its not possible to do this because we cannot integrate the widget into the blog page area or footer 1 or 2. Also we tried to copy the php file into the right place with the editor. But nothing works.

    Can you help us?

    You’ll need to modify your theme files and copy/paste in the generated Direct PHP function generated by your ticker. This is more of a custom implementation of the ticker, when you have to add it directly to your theme in a specific spot. I would suggest getting a developer to help you add it to the location you need.
