Impossible uploading Themes and Plugins

    I am having a ton of trouble installing themes and plug-ins from WordPress.

    I just don’t understand why I keep getting the same ‘download failed’ message after I try to install either a theme or plug-in. WordPress won’t even let me update to 3.8.3

    I have cleared more than enough room on the web server, so I know that’s no a problem.

    I have no idea where to start with this. I’ve googled a bunch of stuff, but nothing helpful.

    Please can someone help me out with this!
