    Hi

Just a suggestion as I have had to uninstall and reinstall several times.

We should be able to backup profiles as can be done with listing templates

Also I think that separating the shipping from the profile would be useful, such as having separate shipping profiles

I have had to create around 50 profiles because lot of our products using the same listing template all have different shipping costs.

I used M2EPro with Magento for a number of years and whilst it is more complicated and harder to ones head around it does have profiles for shipping and returns, and then different profiles for payment and description

So I could make a description template, assign a shipping profile and a payment profile to that template, meaning i could quickly create shipping profiles for my different items and then apply this profile to the main profile which would include returns, payment and description templates

    Cheers

    Hello Albertramsbottom.

I appreciate you taking the time to provide us with your suggestions/feedback. I will be sure to relay these over to the developers and discuss your suggestions with them.

I have had to create around 50 profiles because lot of our products using the same listing template all have different shipping costs.

You do know that the edit product page settings over ride the listing profile settings right? That allows you to provide different shipping costs and other options in the edit product page which will over ride the listing profile settings so you don’t have to create several listing profiles.

Listing profile vs edit product page

    Kind regards,
    John

    Hi

    Thanks for your reply

As for backing profiles we would like that ability

Yes I did now that the edit product page overides the profile. I suppose I didnt explain myself insofar as we have 10000 products, using 50 different shipping methods but the same generic template. This means that we have to edit every product to reflect the shipping applied. So the only way really was to create 50 different profiles as this was more efficient than editing every product

Perhaps we could use a bulk edit plugin to change the shipping settings in the edit product screen in bulk, I will look into this

    Cheers

    Also I nearly forgot

Store Pickup is called Click and collect and is for Argos only in the UK, so we normally opt in to this but the store pickup in this application always throws an error

Warning: You’re not registered to offer Click & Collect. (#21919180)
You’re not registered to offer Click & Collect.

A seller in UK doesnt have to register for this it is just offered when creating a new listing

    Hello albertramsbottom.

If you are registered for click and collect (or even if you don’t need to register for your eBay site you sell on, eBay UK) but eBay says you are not, then the only thing I would recommend trying is refreshing your account details and updating your account (by clicking the “refresh details” link and “update” link) that are found on the accounts page and trying again. If that still does not work, then you would need to contact eBay about the issue.

That error is from eBay’s API, not WP-Lister. So if eBay is throwing such an error, you would need to ask ebay why that is, especially since as you say eBay UK does not require any type of registration.

    Kind regards,
    John

sorry but it is not ebays problem as I have just tested using M2ePro on my other site and its fine, this is a bug in WP lister. as i said before you do not have to register for it. I have refreshed but that does not help

This feature is available for all sellers not just business sellers so this needs to be looked at. It is a standard feature for all seller listings. I suspect that you are checking for store pickup when that feature doesnt exist on ebay uk becuase one doesnt need to be registered for it

    FREE AND EASY TO QUALIFY
We’ll automatically add a Click & Collect option for FREE to all of your eligible listings that:

Just too add to this, if i go to listing where it has failed with a warning and revise that listing in ebay, the click and collect option checkbox is there but unchecked
So I do have this option available but WP lister doesnt seem to recognise it

If you would like us to have a closer look into this you will need to submit a support ticket and provide a sample SKU along with your dashboard URL and admin login credentials so we can have a look at the logs and other information.

    Hello albertramsbottom.

As mentioned in your other thread, we released new beta versions for both plugins, which do allow to download and upload (backup and restore) listing profiles right on the Profiles page. The new versions are:

    WP-Lister for Amazon 0.9.7.2 and
    WP-Lister for eBay 2.0.30

These are currently still in beta and available to paying customers only, but they will be released on ww.wp.xz.cn later this month as well.

    Kind regards,
    John
