In-category sorting

Hi.
After dealing with banner plugins and (ab)using them for displaying sponsor logo lists I’m growing annoyed of their featuritis and the way they grow, I’m searching for a plugin like yours. But there’s one catch 🙂

Would it be possible to define sort-order in categories? We’re taking care of a sports club’s website and they have e.g. soccer and volleyball. Those are sponsored “independently”, so you can have a sponsor for both who contributes a ot to the one sport but significantly less to the other. So they’d be first on the one’s list, but maybe third on the other. Thus a fixed sortkey for a sponsor won’t do the trick. Any chance this might be possible?
