My client uploaded a large number of files with a # in the file name therefore the link breaks. The browser will convert the spaces in the file name to %20 but it is treating the # like a bookmark, is there a way to have the plugin adjust the URL so that it will link correctly

Thanks – I figured this would be a simple one to fix 🙂

All right. I didn’t push a new version so you can do one of two things:

    1. Delete and reinstall File Away with a fresh download.
    2. Download File Away from here and replace two documents:
    Doc1: wp-content/plugins/file-away/includes/file-away.php
    Doc2: wp-content/plugins/file-away/includes/file-management.php

If you just download from here and overwrite those two files on your server, you’ll be good to go.
