    1) Ok I used the plug in to turn all of my no follow pages and blog posts into follow pages and blog posts

    2) I now want to change some but not all of the pages and posts from follow to no follow

    3) If I understand through the faq then I can turn an individual page or blog post from follow to no follow by going to the exceptions tag imputing the full link for that page or post in the exceptions skip pages or posts field

    4) Then I would go to the excluded links tab and put no follow in the field.

    5) By doing this am i correct that I have followed the proper procedure to turn one of my links from follow to no follow

    Hi,

    Thank you for using External Links! 🙂

    That sounds OK. 2 things you can check is:
    1. The list of pages in Exceptions Tab -> Exclude external links by URL should not have any space before/after the link.
    2. In the Exceptions tab, make sure “Own settings for excluded links (extra tab)” is selected.
    3. In the Excluded Links tab, Below the Set follow/nofollow dropdown, make sure “Overwrite existing values.” is checked.

    If that doesn’t fix the issue please go to the Support tab (right side of page) and copy/paste the technical information displayed there.
