In Post Editor, "Click to Toggle" Function is Broken

    Hi!

    When I am editing a blog post, I could not publish, because the “Publish” button was toggled closed, and when I clicked the drop-down arrow, (alt text says “Click to Toggle), it didn’t work.

    I deactivated all my plugins, and then reactivated all my plugins.

    Now, the publish button is visible, but the “featured image” menu item is toggled closed, and I am experiencing the same problem, that I can not click to toggle the “Featured item” menu open.

    Please help.

    Audio Player (Deactivated)

    ClickTale Plugin (Deactivated)

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    I have the exact same problem with a user on my installation. My account is fine, but within his, he can’t toggle any menus. WordPress is unusable for him.

    @cableboy: As per the Forum Welcome, please post your own topic. Posting in an existing topic prevents us from being able to track issues by topic. Added to which, your problem – despite any similarity in symptoms – is likely to be completely different.
