• Sadly, I am periodically unable to send mailouts. There are few instructions on how to troubleshoot this problem. It says in settings, if you change the email listed, mailouts may go into the spam folder and failures may occur, but there is nothing I can find on where this spam folder is, whose it is, and how I can check and fix this. Customer service requests are ernest, but turnaround is slow, even for the paid version. If enough troubleshooting were available, I probably wouldn’t need to wait for the email to get back to me.

    The speed of the mailout depends on its size (the number of recipients) and the plugin settings (how often should mail be sent and the number of emails to be sent at once). Also, the mailout may have “In progress” if the messages are not sent at all.

    If that is the case, please try going through the following steps:

    1) Please check the plugin settings => ‘What to use?’ => change the lines from wp-mail to mail, smtp and vice versa.
    2) email messages can be marked as spam on the server.
    3) please send a mailout from one letter to your address and check if the message is delivered
    4) you need to install an extra plugin called SMTP by BestWebSoft (https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/bws-smtp/), and then configure it accordingly. When done, please open the “Send A Test Email” tab on the plugin settings page, check an option “Display log” and send a test email. Then please examine the plugin log for any errors after a test email is sent. If some errors occurred, you need to fix them. Please note that it is necessary to set SMTP by BestWebSoft the same way your Sender plugin is set before sending a message.

    To set SMTP using Google account, please use the following settings:

    Create a gmail account – https://gmail.com or use the existing one. Then configure the SMTP plugin as follows:
    From Email: [email protected]
    From Name: your_account_name
    SMTP Host: smtp.gmail.com
    SMTP Port: 465
    SMTP Secure Connection: SSL
    SMTP Authentication: Yes
    SMTP Username: [email protected]
    SMTP Password: your_account_password
