on one of the sites, if you look at the page code in the browser, the text is displayed as <p>&10;#0;”</p>

I disable the Joli Table Of Contents plugin and <p>text without symbols</p >

When refreshing the browser, everything is displayed clearly with the Joli Table Of Contents plugin <p>clear text instead of symbols</p>

How can I fix the problem?

Forgot to add the PHP version on the server (7.4.33). WordPress 6.8.2

    Hi,

Thank you for reporting this issue. I would be happy to help you on this matter.

Are you using the latest version of the TOC engine (v2) since the release of the v.2.8.0 ? is the problem still occuring if you deactivate the TOC engine v2 ?

Would you mind sharing the page URL where the issue occurs ? It is difficult to give you a clear answer without actually seeing the page. You can send it to [email protected] and I’ll have a look.

    Thanks!

I’ve solved it. I turned on the V2 engine and recoded HTML entities into UTF. Thank you very much for the tip.
