Include embedded PDFs in the core search function

    Is it possible to include embedded PDFs in the core search function? Then when someone uses the core WP search the content of the PDF will also be indexed and listed in the results. AND if embed PDF also includes URL access to particular page numbers then the core search could also provide search results link directly the page with the search hits.
