Include older posts

When using my Filter Folio, as is normal, it shows the “show all” category and includes the 27 most recent images I’ve added. But upon clicking on my filter categories, it only filters through those 27 most recent ones, rather than pulling from older images to fill the category. I would really like it to be cumulatively inclusive of all my images under each category, as it looks strange and often, as there are gaps in what my content includes, categories filter blank. Is there a way to change this?? my website
And as the above question was based on my filter folio on my website’s home page, I have another similar question concerning the filter folio on my website’s strictly portfolio page, here. On this page, it shows the 12 most recent portfolio images, as is normal, but across the top, only includes the portfolio categories those first 12 images pertain to- not any others. Please advise?
