I guess this also means the content does not get indexed by search engines? If you use class=”no-datatables” it seems it is just a regular table on your website.

Well, Google is a search engine, so no. It does get indexed by them. It also gets indexed by them when they load your website just like any other visitor.

Yes, that’s the point of the plugin. What I’m saying is that WordPress’s built-in search tool cannot index it because it’s not really WordPress’s content (it’s Google’s), but since it’s Google’s, and it behaves like a regular HTML table by design, any search engine crawling your site will index the table’s content.

I solved this problem by replacing WordPress default search with Google Custom Search Engine
