include_excerpt

Dear All,

I have looked at several other posts regarding this issue and I have not found a way to solve my problem. I am new to tinkering with PHP and thought the Display Posts plugin would be a good solution. However, the include_excerpt function simply does not work and all I get is bullet points.

What might be the cause? Can anyone suggest some approach to solve this issue?
