Including a static page?

Hey 🙂

I want to include some static pages on my blog, which I can link to in my menu. Something like “about this blog”, “articles” and “gallery”. These need to be static pages (not blog-posts), and if possible there shoul be no dates and comment-form on them. Still it would be ideal if they appear on the page like a normal post, with the menu, calendar an header etc around it.
I want to make these pages locally on my pc an upload them via ftp.

Is this possible at all? I don’t know if my english is good enough to explain this sufficiently, but I hope you get my point(?)
