Incompatibility with PHP 8.3

    Just testing compatibility with PHP 8.3 at my staging test site.

    Looks like the plugin is not working correctly displaying following error on checkout:

    Deprecated: Creation of dynamic property WPDesk_Flexible_Shipping::$type is deprecated in /www/[…]/public/wp-content/plugins/flexible-shipping/classes/table-rate/shipping-method.php on line 165

    Hi @daliborpuljiz,

    Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Our Flexible Shipping plugin is fully compatible with PHP 8.3. The warning you see at the checkout doesn’t affect the plugin functionalities by any means, you can use it safely and it will be fixed with the upcoming update. Until it’s done, please deactivate the debug mode if it’s also displayed at your production site.

    Right. Thanks a lot for the upcoming fix. It’s only at testing staging site, anyway. There are a couple of more plugins that need fix too, so I’ll wait a bit till everything else gets fixed.

    I’m glad to inform that we addressed this issue in new version of the plugin. If you haven’t done it yet please upgrade to the newest release.

    Since the problem is fixed I’m marking this thread as resolved.
