Hi, I use reusable blocks and I thought that I could hide/show every specific instance of that block, but it automatically hides/shows all instances of the reusable blocks. I guess this is an incompatibility, or else maybe you can look into it and check if this can be fixed.

    Hi @wiessanders,

Just want to make sure I am understanding correctly.

You have a reusable block and you have applied visibility conditions to it. You want to show/hide a specific instance of the reusable block, but when the settings are applied, they are showing/hiding ALL instances of the reusable block, which is not what you want. Is that correct?

If the above is the case, the the plugin is working correctly. In WordPress, reusable blocks are treated as a single block, even though they are in different places. Any change made to one impacts other instances of the same block.

To achieve the functionality that you are looking for, one solution is to “wrap” the reusable block in a group block, then apply the visibility settings to the group block. Showing/hiding the group block will show/hide any blocks inside of it.

Let me know if I can answer any additional questions.

    Best,
    Nick

Hi @wiessanders, since I believe the plugin is working as intended, I am going to mark this as resolved. But if you have any additional questions, feel free to open another support ticket and I would be happy to help.

    Best,
    Nick
