It worked fine yesterday, but somehow (and I’ve deactivated quite a few plugins that were and weren’t around before yesterday) today it just gives the “wheel of death” and doesn’t load anymore.
I’m also seeing this on the plugin page: Warning: This plugin has not been tested with your current version of WordPress.
My fans love the levels of achievement for little prizes and coupons in my shop. Can this be fixed soon?

I’m going to need a lot more information regarding the “Wheel of death” part. I have nothing to go on here for that part. For example, where is this occurring? Frontend badge area? When activating the plugin? Achievement creation page?

There shouldn’t be any issues with using it on 4.3.1, despite that value in the readme not being updated recently. You’ll be fine there.

On the levels page is where it appears. I deactivated the plugin so people wouldn’t get frustrated with it never loading. I’m not sure what’s gone haywire, so I’ve got support requests in with other things that are acting up to see if the source of the problem can be found.

Just to help aid in debugging, at least on the part of BadgeOS, could you link to the levels page? I’ll see if I can notice anything peculiar.

I’m setting it up on my testing site and the wordpress plugin download thing says this: “Untested with your version of WordPress” on top of “Last Updated: 2 months ago.”
Weird… Just reactivated the plugin and went to the page. Oddly enough, it works now. I think another plugin was competing with it or causing an error. Most of my other plugins are deactivated, so a good guess would be something disagreed with it.

I’d still suggest getting the “add plugins” area in wordpress itself updated. That “untested” message can be pretty scary.

Here’s the list of plugins I’ve got, if you want to explore combinations and see which one might be causing problems. BadgeOS has worked fine with most of them for quite a while, but every now and then it seems something goes amiss:

The “not tested on your version’ stuff is all from the readme and “Tested up to: 4.2” spot that’s still present in it. Still nothing to worry about at the moment 😛

I’ll make sure to get it updated next time have need to push out a new version.

It seems to be working just fine now with help from a friend, but you might want to play around with those plugins I listed and see how cooperative they are and maybe find problems before they can cause trouble. 🙂
I do like this plugin and so do my fans. Several people have enjoyed the little prizes, so I hope it continues working and getting updates as needed.
