    Re “Incorrect authentication data” error, I found this:
    https://postmansmtp.com/incorrect-authentication-data/

    https://postmansmtp.com/incorrect-authentication-data/

    This is what I have done:

    1. Verified DNS. TXT record is OK:
    v=spf1 ip4:IP-Address-of-Server include:spf.protection.outlook.com -all

    2. CPanel > Tweak Settings > All: searched CPanel and no Tweak Settings is available

    3. CpHulk is not enabled.

    4. I use SendGrid. I verified that the IP-Address-of-Server is in the SendGrid IP Address allow list. Yes, it is there.

    Other ideas on how to get rid of this error message?`

    Thanks,

    John

    @johnm243 Hi,

    did you try to change SendGrid settings?

    Try to change the mailer type normally this type of issue is because of hosting or there is an issue in the mailer service, try to talk to hosting support or send grid support about this ?

    Thanks @haseeb0001.

    No Sendgrid settings were changed. And Sendgrid support is not much help: when I had an issue configuring Sendgrid at the beginning, I heard back from Sendgrid support AFTER I received a helpful response from a tech site!

    When you say “Try to change the mailer type”, can you please explain?

    I can also ask hosting support, but will wait until I hear back from you.

    Thanks again,

    John

    Hi @johnm243

    Check the screehshot here.

    You can try to change the mailer type and test it.

    Share the Diagnostic test report here.

    Share “Send a Test Email” logs here.

    Thanks
