Incorrect Category shown in carousel

I have a site with two languages English and Welsh using the Polylang plugin. I’ve set up an Advanced Post Block on the home pages of each language and also added Posts in each language and assigned them to the relevant categories for each language. In the editor I set the Posts Query to the relevant Category for the page and the correct posts display in the block but when I go to the site the English posts display on the Welsh home page.
