Incorrect comment author assigned

    Hi GVectors team

    I’m Ruben, author of GamiPress and AutomatorWP

    Some users using GamiPress and wpDiscuz together have found that comments that includes any mention are getting assigned to the mentioned user instead to the real commenter

    This causes a lot inconsistency issues since plugins that wants to user the comment author in some way, are getting as comment author the mentioned user

    GamiPress uses a standard WordPress hook to detect when a new comment is added and uses the assigned user ID as the author of this comment

    So, could you fix this issue and set as comment author the user who wrotes it instead the mentioned users?

    Hi @rubengc,

    We’ve just checked one more time. There is no such issue on our test website. So please check your code one more time and make sure the integration is correct.

    Awesome! Looks like the user who reported this issue was setup the achievement using a different event instead of the “Comment on a post”

    Thank you so much for confirm that wpDiscuz is not the cause
