incorrect ftp username/password while installing new plugin

    If Updrafts Plus plugin is asking for your webhosting account’s FTP credentials, I would recommend starting a topic for the plugin’s support team most familiar with the plugin operation. use this link: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/updraftplus/

    Are you copying to the plugin folder using ftp? WordPress isn’t going to ask you for an ftp password.

    @contentiskey I like your suggestion. It also makes sense. Since the Updrafts Plus installation script asked me the ftp account and password, the plugin’s support team should be able to explain to me why the script threw an error on “incorrect account and password”.

    @mrtom414 I think the plugin tried to copy the installation package to the wordpress plugin folder. But it was not clear why it threw the error since the ftp account and password provided by me were correct, and the account also had administration role in copying files to the plugin folder.
