If I understand correctly, the issue is related to the link format?
The wc-s3cs:// URL is actually expected behavior of the plugin. It is not intended to be a direct public S3 URL. The plugin uses this custom protocol to reference files stored in S3-compatible storage and then automatically generates the actual download link, including support for private buckets and protected downloads.
So, is the problem that customers cannot download the file, or is the concern only that the URL appears as wc-s3cs://… in the product settings?
Thank you for the video.
From what I can see, the file appears to be assigned correctly, and the wc-s3cs:// URL itself looks normal for this plugin.
I also noticed what appears to be a direct download plugin in use. Since such plugins often modify WooCommerce’s standard download flow, they can sometimes interfere with downloadable products.
Could you temporarily disable the direct download plugin and test again? This will help determine whether the issue is caused by a plugin conflict.
Thanks for your help! Yes, that’s how your plugin works. What should I do? I also need a plugin for direct downloading. Help with your recommendations. I use google translate
You’re welcome!
If you need direct download links, you can use the actual S3 URL instead of selecting the file through the plugin.
If your goal is simply to allow free downloadable products without going through the cart or checkout, you can try the “Skip Checkout for Free Downloads” plugin together with our plugin. However, we have not specifically tested this combination, so I cannot guarantee compatibility.

I would suggest trying the first one.
