can you check the trash if there’s any pending events there?
Just emptied the “Trash” list for events. Still showing Pending (6)
This sounds like a possible conflict caused by your theme or another plugin. To check if it is, can you test with all other plugins deactivated and while running the default WordPress theme?
Which version of Events Manager and WordPress are you using?
WordPress 4.5.1
Events Manager 5.6.3
I have deactivated all plugins and activated the default theme but still wrong pending count showing.
I think you must need wp-admin of our demo website but how can I send you ?

Don’t. That’s going too far and if the author took you up on that offer then they’d get a warning to not repeat that again.
Edit: Yes, even for a demo site.
Please try the following temporary steps to troubleshoot:
- Switch to the Twenty Fifteen theme
- Deactivate all of your plugins, except this one
- Clear your browser’s cache and cookies
- Re-login and schedule another event
Do you still get the count problem when you do that? Can you provide a link to your site?
In addition to Jan’s suggestions, are you by any chance using the Divi theme?
I have deactivated all the plugins except this one and switched the theme to Twenty Fifteen, but still the wrong pending count showing ?
What you need from my side to investigate this issue ?
What do you see when you click the Pending link?
Are you logged in as a full admin user? Do all the other counts seem to be correct?
Yes, I am logged in as a full Administrator role. Yes all others are correct.
Can you try upgrading to the latest version of Events Manager?
I have already upgraded the version to 5.6.4
How many events do you see listed in the database directly?
