    Hello!

Thanks for such a cool plugin. I have a strange bug: when the product title is YuXin 4×4 Speed Cube Pyraminx the plugin fills the alt, title and other fields as YuXin 4& #215;4 Speed Cube Pyraminx.

So it replace × with a code & #215; and I don’t know how to turn off this function. Here is my settings:

This bug appears only when I upload photos while editing the WooCommerce Product. In Bulk mode this problem is missing.

    Hello @kleindberg

Sorry for the late reply. I was under the weather and is just returning to work. Happy new year!

So & #215; is the unicode for ×https://www.codetable.net/decimal/215

This should not have any impact on how the attributes are printed in the browser as unicode is converted automatically. However I can imagine this is confusing for you (and potentially others). I will add a correction for this in the next update.

Thanks for all the kind words about the plugin. Glad to hear it.

    Thank you, @arunbasillal!

It would be awesome if plugin will be use just an UTF-8 characters without any filtration.

Also, please approve my translations on this page:

Hello, just wanted to provide an update regarding:

I know why this is happening, but I haven’t been able to implement a good solution. I will keep working on it for the next release.

I guess, the plugin takes an information from the post title on the fly (maybe, via JavaScript). When it just a newly created product, but not saved yet – we have a problems. But, if I save the draft first and only then I upload photos – everything is OK. I hove you find a right solution how to fix this problem 🙂

The issue where characters are replaced with unicode will be taken care of in version 4.3 🙂

Please take a look and let me know if the issue persists.

It’s a known issue with no easy fix as of now sadly. I have a doc about it with some ideas though – https://imageattributespro.com/new-images-auto-draft-as-attributes/

One additional solution would be to configure Image Attributes Pro to update attributes when you save / publish the post – https://imageattributespro.com/update-image-attributes-on-save-post/

    Hope that helps 🙂
