Incorrect Weight Based Shipping Calculation

    Hi There,

    I am having some issues with the weight based shipping calculation.

    The rules have been applied but finding that it is miscalculating some things. I have set rules for products; 0g-500g, 500g-1kg, 1kg-3kg and 3kg-5kg.

    The test product i am using has its weight set at 250g per unit.

    It works Ok for single quantity products under 1kg, but when you order 4x 250g products (1kg total), it gives me a completely different shipping cost ($32.75) which is outside of the rule i stated. It should fall within the 0.5-1kg rule which is $14.50, not $32.75.

    Hi,

    Rules defined in this way mean that the intervals are not separable. For a weight of 1 kg, two rules will work and the result will be summed up. If the ranges are to be separable, the rules should be defined as: 0g-500g, 501g-1000g, etc…
