Hi @morganbrownn95,
This plugin is only for monitoring the memory usage. It displays the memory used by the WordPress installation in the administration footer. This gives you an idea of the memory usage and if you have to increase the memory limit.
You can increase the WordPress memory limit through the wp-config.ph file. Here are the official instructions.
But normally what you want is to increase the memory on the server side. In order to increase the memory of the server you can edit the php.ini file or change it in the panel (in case you have Cpanel, Plesk or another management panel). Nevertheless the easiest way is to contact the support of your hosting and make them change it.
Best regards from Spain.
Thanks for your detailed answer.
I have this display Memory: 38 of 768 MB (5%) | WP LIMIT: 40 MB | IP 127.0.0.1
Its only 5% but wp limit is almost reach. Why WP is limit in 40mb where there plenty more. I guess this is where u change at wp-config.php and allow wordpress use more memory.
But when more people visit websites, the more memory is require to serve the request
Hi @najibx,
Next time please open a new Support Topic so that we can help you better. To increase the WP LIMIT, please refer to the official instructions of WordPress regarding wp-config.php.
Best regards from Spain.
