Increase Ping Frequency or Get Method

    Hi guys, I used to have the old version of Google XML Sitemap and it had ability to use a Get method so I could rebuild the sitemap using a cron job.

    Now the new version doesnt have that.

    My posts come in every 2 minutes and I need to send a ping to Google every 30 minutes or so.

    How do I tweak the latest version to ping every 30 minutes? Also, is there a way to use GET method and use a cron job?

    Any thoughts?
