increase webcam quality

    Hello again !

    the webcam is working “fine”.

    Is there anyway to make it smoother? increase the bitratio? more fps? or it tepends of the internet conecction? and is there a way to make the webcam canvas bigger?

    Hi,

    This is complex. The main problem is that the major part of the job is done by the browser, not the server. This is not a real webcam streaming, this is an emulation with pictures. So, if a member use an old computer, a video “smoother” will not works correctly.
    There is no easy way to change the settings.

    I also have the same problem with image quality. Depending on the connection of the users, the image of the webcam is better or worse. It is very important that the computer is fast and the internet connection adsl. I am developing a website for live video streaming with webcam https://goo.gl/YbdU1H and I need to improve these points.

    The plugin cannot do anything to improve the quality of the user connection.
