Indefinitely recurring events

    Hi there,

    I recently updated from an ancient version of the “my calendar” plugin – still used ID instead of class for its CSS – and found that events don’t show up anymore.

    Under “manage events” I see that these events are recurring for 240 weeks. After “Re-generat[ing] event occurrences table” those that are less than 240 weeks old do show up, but those older than that not. Many events have been created in 2011 and are ongoing – so well over 300 weeks.

    I understand I can go in there and change the numbers to 999 but I was curious whether there is any implementation specifically for events that are indefinitely recurring.

    No, I’m afraid that I had to eliminate the option for open-ended recurring events – it was a significant performance problem, and on large calendars it was creating some significant problems.
