    why your plugin indexing attachement in my site, for more than a 6 months and the problem is still, i’m using Yoast SEO: Search index purge plugin 6 month ago but without any solve.

    Hi @mohamedbou,

    We expect the Search Index Purge plugin to add the attachment pages to the sitemap, but this is only to help them find and remove the URLs from search results. When search engines crawl the attachment URLs, the plugin displays the image and adds a “410 Deleted” status code. This status code tells search engines to remove the attachment pages from search results and not to index them.

    To help us troubleshoot and make sure that the plugin is working correctly, can you send us the URL of your sitemap? We tried to visit the one you shared, but it isn’t a valid link.
