Index delay issue

    I’m having issues with article indexing being delayed for 4-5 hours because of this plugin. When I disable it, news articles are indexed within minutes, but then when I re-enable it, the problem returns. I can’t abandon AMP pages because I’ll lose all traffic from Discover and Google News. The problem has been going on for almost a year now, and it appeared after a plugin update last year. I’ve been using this plugin for almost 10 years now and haven’t had any problems like this before.
