Index posts by date

I’m running WP 2.9.2

My blogger writes a complete short story every day and preferrs to have the entire latest post on the home page. So the stories do not have a “more” link. Basically there is only 1 post per page.

So now we have an organization problem. How do we create a listing or index of posts by month? I would love to run AZ-Index but my version doesn’t qualify.

We’re up to 75 short stories and the early ones are hopelessly hard to find.

I’ll take even the most creative of suggestions!
