Indexed, though blocked

    Hi I am getting the following error in my google search console saying “Indexed, though blocked by robots.txt
    Status: Warning”

    I’m using yoast with settings allowing the search engines to find it and don’t seem to have a robots file in the root directory. Any ideas why this could be happening?

    Further to this, I can’t find it on my host but if i go to mydomain.com/robots.txt I get the following:

    User-agent: *
    Disallow: /wp-admin/
    Allow: /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php

    We don’t see anything in the robots.txt file you provided that would block a URL. We also have a guide on possible reasons for this message here: https://yoast.com/help/crawl-error-submitted-url-blocked-by-robots-txt/

    Would you be able to share one of the URLs that you are receiving this warning for?
