Indexing comments and adding long URLs

    Hey there, on my blog posts we are allowing backtrack and Pingback links.
    But in the sidebar Recent Comments widget the comment excerpts have links that have /#comment-1647 added to them and they are throwing errors for “Too long URLs”
    Is that Yoast doing that? How do I stop that from happening?

    We are not aware of such an issue specific to the Yoast SEO plugin. If you disable Yoast SEO temporarily, does that resolve the issue for you?

    We rebuilt the widget and that fixed it. So not sure if it was Yoast or the way the widget was built.
