    i have just installed wp on my own domain, (my second one i have already got wp installed successfully and running on another domain). but this time whenever i try to look at a post before i publish it, it cant find the page. and when i log in with:www.domain.co.uk/blog/wpadmin it cant find the page but if i use …/wp-admin/index.php that works fine. if anyone might have an inckling as to why this is, please let me know. in advance many thanks.

    it goes in your .htaccess

    Ok, thanks for the reply. the site where the blog is doesnt use php for the main site its all html. If I change the .htaccess to index.php, that would change the defaults for the main site wouldn’t it, od can i specify just for the blog? Sorry if its a simple fix but Im not familar with this bit. Thanks

    you have your blog inside blog/

    create an .htaccess, put it in that directory, copy and paste the text above..

    Cheers a big bunch, I just read about .htaccess and didnt know that you could have different ones in different directorys.
