Inexplicably slow loading time

    Two days ago, my wordpress blog suddenly slowed way down. No idea why. thought perhaps I needed to upgrade so I did to 2.6.2 and still no difference.

    I am not a programmer so I dont have a clue as to where to begin investigating the cause of the severe slowdown.

    I have two wordpress blogs – tangospeak.com (excellent loading time)

    and tangospeak.com/wordpress/ – this is the one that is really really slow loading.

    I hadn’t done anything different to tangospeak.com/wordpress/ lately except for upgrading. Going nuts trying to figure out what the problem could be. If any of you could hazard a guess or suggestion, please let me know. Thanks.

    Oh! One more thing – tried deactivating all my plugins to see if any of them could have been the source of the problem. All I know is that if I deactivate or remove bdp-comments.php, I get an internal server error message when i load my blog (tangospeak.com/wordpress) in my browser.

    Hi Tango,
    I’m no expert, but I was having the same problem a couple of days ago and ti turned out being a widget I’d put on the front page (flickr to be precise).

    Don’t know if that’ll help or not, but worth a go eh.
