    Hi!

    I just switched from OceanWP to Neve, thank you very much for this very good theme πŸ™‚
    I encounter a few issues, maybe you know where it comes from:

    1. When I select the “Infinite Scroll” in the personalization options for blog, it’s not working for me I got this error in the console and the circle is in infinite loading πŸ™‚

    Uncaught SyntaxError: JSON.parse: unexpected character at line 1 column 1 of the JSON data

    <anonymous> https://www.serialhikers.com/wp-content/themes/neve/assets/js/build/modern/frontend.js?x58159&ver=2.7.7:1

    2. I can’t make the search bar work in desktop view: when clicked on the icon, it’s impossible to type anything, the search field disappear as soon as we click on it. But it works normally in tablet and mobile view!

    3. Mega menu not centered / off the screen on the left until I added the following CSS. So not an issue anymore for me but you could be interested to know:
    .nv-nav-wrap .primary-menu-ul:not(#nv-primary-navigation-sidebar) .neve-mega-menu > .sub-menu {left:50% !important; top:40px !important}
    the top:40px is to fix the vertical alignement with my 600px heigh header, the mega menu was below the header…

    Do you have any idea for the 2 first issues?
    thank you πŸ™‚

    Still the console error when activated the ifinite scroll…

    Hi @arfufu,

    Sorry for the late reply. Do you still need help with this?
    If yes, please provide the exact URL where this happens.

    Also, it seems that you are using a cache plugin that overwrites the default CSS code. Please try to deactivate all the plugins and see if the issue persist.

    Thanks!

    Hi @betydbr ,

    Thanks for your reply. Yes there is still something wrong with the infinite scrolling. I didn’t leave it activated as it doesn’t work but let the default option “numbers”

    I just reactivated the infinite scrolling for you to test, and deactivated my W3 cache plugin + Fast Velocity Minify plugin.
    You can have a look and see the console error.

    I can’t leave the website broken like this for very long thought, I will let it like this a few hours and return to the “numbers” setting then.

    It happens on any category page that have more than 12 posts, for example: https://www.serialhikers.com/travel-stories/

    Thank you for your help

    Hi,
    I have to put back the website with working settings – so I deactivate the infinite scroll that doesn’t work…
    Please let me know if you have had a look. If not you can tell me when you want me to reset the settings in order for you to see what is wrong.

    @arfufu,

    Are these custom post types or default posts that you are using and that do not work?

    Also, please enable infinite scroll again – I’m now following this issue so I’ll try to check it sooner this time after your reply. Thanks!

    Hi @bvytis

    Thanks for your reply.
    By posts types you mean page attribute / template? 99% are WP default template, and just a few are Elementor full width.

    Ok I reactivated the infinite scroll now! Thanks πŸ™‚

    Hello, any news? I have to put back to the working settings…

    Hi @arfufu,

    Thank you. I was able to access your website and replicate the issue but haven’t replied as I haven’t got a solution to this one. I’m not able to replicate this issue on our test instances.

    It still makes me think there could be some conflict with another plugin. Could you try making some tests and disable all the plugins and then re-save the permalinks in Settings->Permalinks section (just click save without making any changes).

    Try loading the page then and check if infinite scroll works. If it does – try enabling plugins again one by one and check which is the conflicting plugin.
