INFO: Top Bar > Submitted with errors: spam

    I have added the MC4WP toolbar to the bottom of our website. No matter what email is used to try to subscribe it gets the “Ooops somethings wrong.” error message. When I check the WP error log for Mailchimp I get these error messages for every email:`[2022-09-08 13:42:34] INFO: Top Bar > Submitted with errors: spam

    [2022-09-08 13:50:43] INFO: Top Bar > Submitted with errors: spam
    [2022-09-08 13:54:20] INFO: Top Bar > Submitted with errors: spam

    Do you have any plugins like “WP Spam Shield” or similar installed on your website?

    I have Akismet Anti-Spam plugin installed. I deactivated it and still get the same spam error response.

    Hey @tonycalabrese1,

    Can you please test a form created using our plugin (and not TopBar form) and then visit “MC4WP > Others” menu to see if any other errors are visible?

    Harish,

    Thank you. I was able to create a form and add it to our contact us page using the plugin instead of the TopBar form. I couldn’t create the top bar form but this will work.

    So the normal form does not give you this same error?

    Do you have any captcha integration on the topbar form?

    No errors at all with the normal form. I do not have any captcha integration on the top bar form.

    Thank you for your help. I wish I could get the top bar to work but I’m fine with it the way it is.
