Hi Daniele,
To begin with, I’ll sell the memberships offline to my customers. I’d like to create a code or key to giving them so they can create the account.
So, without the code, you won’t be able to register.
Is this possible with your plugin?
Please check the following documentation wordpress-simple-membership-plugin-make-site-semi-private. Let me know if this helps you in any way.
Also, will I be able to limit each registration to one year?
Yes
Final question, will I need to create single codes for each person or can I limit the code to a set amount of uses?
Can you provide more information regarding the above question.
Thank you
Hello @mbrsolution,
Thank you for your answer.
The coupon code/voucher situation:
Basically, I’m creating a website for a client. He doesn’t want anyone to be able to register on my website as he mostly works with schools.
For now, he’ll sell the memberships offline so he’d like a way to restrict the registration process/form. This way, only his clients can do so.
However, because he works with many students, creating their account himself would take a lot of time. That’s why he was thinking of using a coupon code or voucher generated by him or a plugin that needs to be added by the user when filling out the registration form. So without the code/number/voucher, you can’t complete the registration.
He has planned a 3 tier membership to sell. One gives you 20 codes, the other one 40 and the last one 60. Either 20/40/60 different codes or one with a limit of 20/40/60 uses. So, based on the class size, the teacher can buy the most suitable one and the students will use the code to create their account.
I hope this makes more sense,
It can be tricky to understand but it’s what he has planned to do
Thank you

Unfortunately at present the plugin does not cater for what you are looking for. However I have submitted a message to the developers to investigate further your issue/request.
Thank you
Hi @mbrsolution
Thanks a lot for your help!
Hi @mbrsolution ,
How do I set the expiration period for each new registration? You said it is possible to do so but I couldn’t find the correct option.
Especially because I might have found a solution to the code situation
Thank you
