Information Needed About Customizing Plugin

I am working on modifying this plugin but I am having a hard time finding the correct files to edit. I need to remove audio and video upload and replace with SoundCloud and YouTube embeds. What files would I need to edit and where are they located? Also, what is the best way to modify this plugin without breaking the ability to update? Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks 🙂
