I am unable to log into the gmail account – I have setup Gmail and logged in through the normal web interface so I know password works. I have enabled Pop.

    I get this error log:

    My setup parameters are below:

    Connection: Socket

    Port: 995
    Mail Server: pop.gmail.com
    Mail Userid: [email protected]
    Mail Password: •••••••••

I can only go by what the message is saying. Many people are using Postie with Gmail, including myself so I know it does work.

I would ensure that the password is correct and not being altered by a password manager or browser autofill.
