hi there,

the plugin offers a great functionality. but the “query” option gives me a headache.

i use this shortcode:
[gdoc key=”1cIpy79-iOeAJlUqZn6g8f6KgvjYYxIBfi7DczFyFkHg” query=”select A, B, C limit 100″ datatables_order=’%5B%5B 2, “desc” %5D%5D’ ]

the query doesn’t work like expected. all columns show up and the limit is not applied. what did i miss?

Use the full URL in the key.

the problem is that the full URL option doesn’t work with spreadsheets with more than one sheet.

well – at least i didn’t get it to work. following URL shortcode worked NOT when my spreedsheet consisted of more than one sheet. instead i got a Google Apps login screen. after deleting the multiple sheets keeping only one it worked well. ( i told google t make only one sheet (the one the export is based on) available.

Make sure the #gid= part of your URL is pointing to the correct sheet’s ID. This worked for me, though you may also have to ensure that you haven’t disallowed “Download and export” options for your Sheet.
