    Hi,
I’ve just created my first table (imported from Excel) & added it to a page via the short code – all simple and straightforward.
What I can’t figure out is how to (manually) add data to the table! (I think the heat’s getting to me).
I’m sure this has been asked before but I can’t find it.

    Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

When you view the “List of Tables”, just click on the desired table’s name to get to its “Edit” screen.
You will be taken to a screen like https://ps.w.org/tablepress/assets/screenshot-2.png?rev=1064192 where you can enter/modify the table data.
If “Table Content” only appears as a narrow bar, click on it to reveal the input fields.

    Regards,
    Tobias

    Hi Tobias,

I can do that OK but when the table is inserted into a page or form I can’t – it’s non-editable.
(This will eventually be an order form and I’m trying to get users to enter a quantity in either of two columns).
    I hope this makes sense!

    Hi,

ah, I see. Unfortunately, I’ll have to disappoint you here. TablePress does not have such frontend editing capabilities. Tables can not be added by a site visitor, like a form.

    Regards,
    Tobias
