    How may I insert a single Shareaholic button on my site with custom options?

    What I want to do is insert Tweet, Facebook Like, and Google+ buttons in site-wide widget. Each button will have a compelling, general message about the website content. And the Facebook Like button would like the Facebook page, instead of the current URL. The Google+ and Twitter buttons would tweet the homepage URL and not the current URL.

    Is this possible with Shareaholic?

    @djosephdesign it should be.

    You can use the shortcode (where you can specify the title, URL or/and summary):

    [shareaholic app="recommendations" id="<insert shareaholic app ID here>" title="About Me" link="http://mysite.com/about"]

    You can generate as many Share Button app locations as you’d like to by -> click on “General Website Settings” -> Go to your app dashboard on shareaholic.com

    I have multiple websites. Is there anything wrong with making a single “app” and reusing the ID across separate sites?

    Is there any way to make a Facebook button that likes a Facebook page? Or can I only do this with the official code?

    Hi Daniel – You can use the same ID across sites, but if you use recommendations, you may see related content suggested across those multiple sites. We don’t have a FB like option yet, but that’s a good feature request!
