• Hi There,

I had the plugin working fine until I started working on my own template. I made my own template and when I inserted the ASIN into the Amazon Link widget to create the shortcode, it started filling in the shortcode tags with just “-” marks. Like this:

    [amazon asin=1442229012&template=book_advertisement&title=-&thumb=-]

Where book_advertisement is my custom template. I thought this was weird so then I tried it using the standard thumbnail template packaged with the plugin and that also did the same thing.

    [amazon asin=1442229012&template=thumbnail&title=-&thumb=-]

Did I permanently break the plugin or is this a known bug?

    Thanks,

    Grant

    Hi,

    Can you check your setting?

If Live Data is not set then the plugin will assume you want to put the data manually into the shortcode.

Change Live Data to enabled should change the behaviour.
