Good Morning Albert,
What you could try doing is inserting the following code into the editor part of the post/page. Please follow the following steps
Open the editor for the page/post that you wish to edit
Once on that page please click the box that says text ( this is the one next to the box saying visual )
Then copy and paste the following code making sure you edit the two parts that say ” your URL here” and ” URL Title here”
<a href="Your URL Here">URL Title Here</a>
Then click update/publish to save your page and the link should now show.
If you have any issues i am happy to try and assist better
Yes thanks
I have done that, but I’m really after a permanent solution to the problem
I am not the only editor and they dont under stand the html to insert a link that way
Should i dissable each plugin one by one and test if one is causing this problem?

Albert,
Yes that would be a great start as some plugins may not be compatible with your wordpress version or they could be corrupt
Try:
– deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
– switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.
thanks guys
got it working again
