    New registered users should be able to choose or upload an avatar.
    After using CL the option to do that is gone. I cannot find out how I can get that back in ‘edit profile’.
    The Avatars that were before in the bbpress forum are also all gone now, all users have now just the empty dummy pictures and I cannot find an option to have them back.
    What can I Do to get uploading and showing avatars again?

    I have the “WP User Avatar” plugin active, but it does not give a result. The use of Gravatar is not wished.

    @gunivortus,

    Sorry but this plugin does not have compatibility with WP User Avatar, so you cannot change your avatar using the shortcode generated by this plugin.

    Anyway, this plugin does not manage anything about avatar (you can check in the code we only get avatars using the standard function).

    But it obviously also blocks showing the avatar in the profile settings, a place, where this belongs.

    @gunivortus,

    How does it block it? I do not understand you.

    When I call the option to watch and edit my profile, the avatar, which was uploaded before and is in the Media, is not shown at the profile information.

    I do not know how WP User Avatar works but we use the get_avatar function to show it.

    The problem is, beforee using Clean Login, the registered users had avatars. After starting using CL, those avatars had disappeared, they were not even visible. Installing WP Avatars (which I installed bewcause it was advised somewhere here in the forum), all users got the standard avatar.
    Yet, using the edit profile option does not even show the standard avatar, neither is there an option to add or change an avator to the profile or at registration.

    If you read the code you will note that we do not do anything with avatars.

    So the problem has raised at the same time but this has not been created by Clean Login.

    OK. I will check if there’s a plugin conflict and return then here.
