Inserting blog posts on another page
-
Okay, I’ve looked through the WIKI and I didn’t see the answer to this.
I would like to be able to insert the current blog post into the front page of my site. I don’t want to replace the front page since it has a lot of other information on it. I want to use the current wordpress post as an update feature, with comments allowed.
The site uses frames, a TOC and a header frame, and the content frame is where everything is. Right now it’s SHTML since it has to pull from several different files where I do updates to various aspects of the front page without changing the content of the front page. If you want to see it, it’s at http://davensjournal.com
The boxes on the left and right sides are pulled in by the SHTML script, as is the “Rant” section below. I want to replace the “letters from the editor” section with the current blog post.
If I have to I can set it up so the main blog page (at http://davensjournal.com/wordpress/index.php ) is only populated with ONE post, comment out the header and the navigation box, but I really don’t want to be that extreme yet.
Is there someo other way to do this? I’m racking my brains and the best I can come up with is to feed it through RSS to the FrontPage, but that’s not really a good option.
Is there something else I can do?
